IVD, Inc. provides design of various types of HVAC systems to meet with your project requirements. We are experienced with hot water and steam boilers, direct fired heating and all types of heat pumps; as well as, chilled water and direct expansion (DX) cooling. Our projects have utilized constant volume air handling, variable air volume (VAV) air handling, humidification, dehumidification, in-floor radiant heat, and infra-red heat. We have worked with natural gas, propone (LP) gas, and fuel oil heat sources. IVD, Inc. will design the appropriate automatic temperature control (ATC) system of the type of equipment in your building and the level of expertise available for maintenance and operation. We have extensive experience in duct design and air distribution, ventilation systems, and energy recovery systems.

Power

IVD, Inc. provides a complete compliment of electrical design services for each project. We design new electrical services based on the immediate requirements of the building and any plans for future growth. In addition, we design emergency power and distribution systems when required by the Owner. Emergency system design includes emergency generators, battery systems, and UPS systems.

Lighting

We provide design of energy efficient lighting for the building interior to accent the space design and special architectural features. We provide emergency and exit lighting and exterior/site lighting design. We evaluate existing lighting by reading foot-candle levels to determine deficiencies.

Systems

We design electrical systems necessary for a fully functioning building. Electrical systems include fire/smoke alarm, security, sound, nurse call, and CATV.

IVD, Inc. has an extensive plumbing design experience that includes domestic water, water heating, sanitary drainage and venting, roof drainage, compressed air, medical gases, and grease and oil interceptors. We have designed complete plumbing systems for commercial kitchens using both natural gas and propane gas. We have provided design of domestic water systems for both public and private water sources, including on-site wells.
