He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and brings over thirty years of experience in commercial, institutional, pharmaceutical, and industrial mechanical systems. He has a solid background in building automation, whether it is DDC, electric/electronic, or pneumatic in design. In addition to mechanical systems, Brian has over twenty-five years of control experience in building automation, security, and integration.

Brian is also certified by the Nation Environmental Balancing Bureau (NEBB) in air and water balancing as well as Building Systems Commissioning.
